MAM01 MBA (Advertising & Brand Management)
The programme aims to develop skills like copyrighting, visualisation, graphic designing, etc. which are essential to succeed in the advertising industry. Furthermore, the programme broadens the students’ knowledge through critical thinking, analysis and corporate training enabling them to respond to the increasing demands and changes taking place in this dynamic field.
The Department of Advertising & Brand Management was established in the year 2002. Advertising & Brand Management is a job-oriented course, specially designed for those students who intend to do something creative in the field of Marketing (Advertising & Branding).
It will help them in understanding the important aspects of advertising & branding and will teach them practical applications of these subjects in the corporate world. Professional prospects of the course: Advertising is considered as one of the important tools of marketing communications & Branding has become inevitable in marketing strategy of any organization.
Thus, this course will open new vistas for students in the field of advertising & branding. The course will hone their skills and they will become “Ready-To-Do-Job” just after the completion of their graduation.
MFM01 MBA (Finance)
The basic purpose of this programme is to impart professional education in modern management. It aims at developing an insight into the field of finance in order to equip students with a scientific approach along with the relevant knowledge-base required for financial decision-making.
The Department of Financial Studies, under The IIS University, has been an institution of learning and research since 1995 for students who aspire to enhance their managerial efficiency in the finance industry.
The Department offers B.Com. (Pass Course), B.Com. (Honours-Financial Studies), B.Com. (Honours-Insurance), B.Com. (Honours-Financial Market) at undergraduate level; and M.Com. Financial Studies, M. Phil. and Ph.D. programmes at postgraduate level.
MHR01 MBA (Human Resource Management)
This programme focusses on developing in future managers a set of skills that are necessary for human resource management such as planning, mediation, recruitment and labour relations. The programme also prepares graduates to incorporate the HR strategies into the overall plans of any company.
The Department of Human Resource Management & International Business at The IIS University has made significant contribution towards building professional skills of management focusing on human resources and international business.
The course curriculum offered both at undergraduate and postgraduate level, consists of core papers like international business strategy, international marketing research, international trade operations, strategic HRM, Organization Development & Change, Compensation Management etc. that reflect the concepts & recent trends in International Business and Human Resource.
The department has taken a number of steps to ensure that the curriculum of different programmes is updated on a regular basis to reflect the fast-changing concepts and trends in International Business and Human Resources. The process includes the participation of experts both from industry and academia.
MIV01 MBA – Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development (IEV)
This program is an initiative under the National Student Startup Policy of AICTE, New Delhi and MHRD, Govt. of India’s Innovation Cell with an objective to help gear up the Indian higher education system for producing new generation entrepreneurs alongside earning a Master’s degree.
The course is designed to provide experiential learning opportunities and the required skill-set for building startups as a career.
